Your Questions Answered

  • The Vaganova method is one of the world’s most respected systems of classical ballet training, used to develop legendary artists such as Rudolf Nureyev, Natalia Makarova, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Diana Vishneva, and generations of Mariinsky and Bolshoi dancers.

Known for its strength, precision, and expressive power, the method develops the whole dancer through a carefully structured progression of training. For serious students, Vaganova training often transforms classical ballet from something distant and mysterious into something clear, measurable, and truly attainable.

And while teaching focuses on the whole room, classical coaching focuses only on you.

Combining the Vaganova method with individualized correction, diagnostic training, and long-range artistic guidance, coaching allows strengths to be developed intentionally and technical obstacles addressed directly. For serious students, this kind of focused mentorship can become the bridge between recreational training and the level of refinement, artistry, and technical command required for pre-professional and professional opportunities.

  • Kniaseff Floor Barre by Yasna Stevovich© is a renowned classical training method originally developed in Paris for professional ballet dancers and used by generations of elite artists, including legendary Paris Opéra Ballet étoile Sylvie Guillem.

The method removes the strain of gravity and balance, allowing dancers to develop extraordinary placement, turnout, and expansive extensions. Yasna evolves the method, developing coordination, core strength, and freedom of movement with remarkable precision.

For students, and especially for dancers with injuries, hyper-mobility or scoliosis, I find floor barre often becomes transformational. Weaknesses are clarified. Movement becomes more intelligent. Technique grows cleaner, stronger, and more expressive — opening the door to a new level of classical possibility.

I am proud to be a certified instructor.

  • Creative strategy uses the arts as a powerful tool for addressing complex educational, cultural, and social challenges, particularly those traditional models often struggle to solve.

Working collaboratively with educators, local government, institutions, and stakeholders, creative strategists use artist-led, community-informed approaches to awaken literacy, restore curiosity, strengthen communication and belonging, bridge cultural divides, reconnect people to history and identity, and transform students and audiences from passive observers into active participants, creators, interpreters, and leaders.

At its best, creative strategy helps people, schools and institutions move beyond limitation and disconnection — creating stronger communities, deeper participation, and lasting impact.
